The beamline is the bridge of the FEL source and endstation. The aim of the beamline is to transport the ultra-short, ultra-bright, and fully coherent FEL to the endstations, to fulfill the requirements of scientific experiments. The department's task of beamline and endstation techniques is to design, construct and commission the beamline, including physical design, preliminary design of three beamlines, and technical design of all the optics, diagnostics, and the commissioning of beamlines. There are three groups, beamline design group, beamline optics group, and beamline diagnostics group.
