In order to enhance data security, a unified data sharing and backup mechanism of SHINE BE is established for the project-related data. A database of engineering R&D in BE is developed to protect the data generated in R*D phase of beamlines and endstations.
The engineering design database is a dedicated database based on the open source file-sync and sharing software, i.e. ownCloud, which provides convenient and fast services for the storage, backup and sharing of engineering design documents, drawings, audio and video. The database provides web access as well as clients access, and supports multi-terminal automatic synchronization on various PC and mobile phones, e.g. Linux, Windows, MacOS, Android and IOS. The database is convenient for users to obtain and exchange data anytime and anywhere.
