Yudong Yao received her Ph.D. in Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017 studying on the development and application of coherent diffraction imaging technology. From 2017 to 2018, she joined Northwestern University in the United States, working on hard X-ray ptychography methods. From 2018 to 2022, she worked as a postdoctoral appointee and then an assistant physicist in Argonne National Laboratory, focusing on high-throughput and high-resolution X-ray coherent diffraction imaging technology and applications, three-dimensional imaging methods, and deep-learning advanced imaging method development. Yudong Yao joined ShanghaiTech University on September 2022 and is engaged in the development and application of X-ray coherent imaging method with synchrotron radiation and X-ray free electron laser.
